David A. Crandall, M. Most are good, but I have seen the blue ones munch on people's zoas. I would get rid of it just in case. I actually don't think it is an asterina. I have never seen them with bulges like that and they have 5 lopsided legs. I however have no idea what it is. I am going to move this to the hitchiker id forum in hopes one of our idea experts can be of more help. Blurp Member. I do have 6 legged asterinae I have never seen one with a bulge either. I have seen them with up to 6 legs though.
