Why do kakashi kill rin

Kakashi was assigned a leading role in the team in a mission to destroy the Kannabi bridge, which would tactically put the Iwagakure at a disadvantage by heavily limiting their use of Kusagakure. It may never have been conscious, but Obito definitely depicted feelings of insecurity regarding Kakashi, who was probably the most celebrated young member of the team and received rewards from Rin and Minato due to his promotion.

But his love for Rin remained the driving factor of his commitment to the team. A dilemma did occur when Rin got captured by the Iwa-nin in between the mission, following which Kakashi decided to abandon Rin, favoring to complete the mission to the last bit before rescuing her, which led to a dispute between him and Obito, which led to Obito calling Kakashi a terrible person due to abandoning his friends.

Obito furiously departed from the team and started pursuing Rin on his own. And while he ended up finding the hideout cave where the Iwa-nin were camping, a camouflaged Taiseki caught him while he was on the go to rescue Rin.

This encounter is also where Kakashi ended up losing his eye. Obito, with the help of his Sharingan, managed to find and kill the Taiseki, and the two ended up finding Rin. Though while this may conclude things, it also initiated to an extent. Almost around the exit, Kakashi fell, and a boulder was about to fall on him, but Obito pushed him away and sacrificed himself, at least to the eyes of Kakashi and Rin. Obito was trapped below a boulder, and as life seemed to be fading out from him, he revealed to Kakashi his feelings for Rin.

Madara secretly pulled the strings and got Rin kidnapped. He manipulated others to see it as a doing of the forces of Kirigakure. Madara sealed the three-tailed beast Isobu into Rin, which is one of the nine-tailed beasts.

She was also chosen because she was the only person in her village who could carry a Chakra monster. Minato sent Kakashi to her rescue, who was working for Anbu as a Black Ops member, which was an S-tier rank, followed by the disbanding of Team Minato. Kakashi managed to rescue her, but on their way back, they were chased by a bunch of Jonin and Anbu-level Shinobi, who had a mission to retrieve the possessor of the tailed beast.

Kakashi, who would do anything to find an alternative to the situation, refused to do it due to the vow he made to Obito, which was to protect Rin by all means. Kirigakure needed her to seal Isobu 3 Tails inside her to attack a hidden leaf once she heads back to Konoha. Rin was not always a Jinchuriki.

She was made a jinchuriki on a mission alongside Kakashi and Obito. She asked Kakashi to kill her but he refused. When Kakashi and Rin were heading back, they were surrounded by Hidden Mist shinobi. Those Shinobis were purposefully chasing Rin and Kakashi to drive them back to leaf and succeed in the attempt of Tailed Beast attack.

The Tailed beast inside Hosts is Not really inside them. Jinchuriki is the host of Tailed Beasts, but not bodily host. Tailed Beasts just lose the link to get into the Shinobi world unless some previous precautions are taken to bring them back to this world. Rin is the only known jinchuriki to have died without the tailed beast first being extracted.

Canonically, yes, Rin had feelings for Kakashi. The evidence lies in her interactions with him. While many fans seem to have mixed feelings due to a girl named Hanare, Kakashi is canonically single in both the manga and anime series. So yes, Rin was attracted to Kakashi. If Obito, Rin, and Kakashi had all survived and lived happily ever after in Konoha with no crazy Madaras trying to ruin their lives, I think Rin would end up with Kakashi.

Not out of any personal bias, but honestly, look at how Kishimoto writes romance in Naruto — have you ever noticed the girl always gets the guy she likes? So she did what she felt was the only option.

Her decision led to the 4th war being a possibility. As this is when Obito decides, the Shinobi world is Hell. Rin killed herself because she was afraid of the three-tailed beast that was put inside her, worried that she might get controlled by this beast to destroy Konoha. She was a Jinchuuriki kidnapped by some shinobis of Kiri? And she killed herself stupidly, even if she was safe.

Hence she asked Kakashi to kill her. So, Rin decided to take it on herself- When Kakashi was about to strike a Mist shinobi, Rin jumped in between and killed herself by Chidori. She sacrificed her life for the sake of her village! Let me tell you the misconceptions about Jinchurikis.

The wiki summarizes this scene as. On his way to the battle site, Obito has a vision of Rin through his empty eye socket.
